Send in the Tory Clowns

The United Kingdom has turned into an out-of-control pariah state where the government does not give a care in the world how the country functions so long as their chums profit from it. And not just that, but the Insulate Britain protestors have been allowed to block traffic for days now this includes ambulances and other emergency services. I get it climate change is a serious issue, and I am all for saving the planet, but it should not prevent people from going to work or hospitals. And yet, Home Office Minister Priti Patel, in charge of policing, has done absolutely nothing to give police powers to remove these upper-class eccentrics from gluing themselves to roads and claiming they would happily block an ambulance with a dying patient inside.

Not only is the U.K. self-destructing under the worst leadership this country has ever had, but Prime Minister Boris Johnson has done absolutely nothing to prepare the country for the crises of the Brexit era. There are fuel shortages, shelves in supermarkets are half-empty, hardly any HGV drivers to bring the goods, taxes have risen, salaries are declining, but as long as the chumocracy of the Conservative party is alive, that is all that matters to Boris. Boris was hiding throughout the worst moments of fuel shortages because he knew he screwed up, only coming out as his party’s conference began. During it, he will ignore the crises gripping the country and lie through his teeth that salaries are going up.

Boris has also not ruled out further tax rises. As if National Insurance rise taxing the poor working classes to make his pensioner voter’s kids inheritance secure was not enough, now he is thinking of allowing local councils to increase Council Tax again as if April 2021 rise was not enough. Not only has Boris broken Conservative manifesto ones, but he will break it repeatedly, and then his will be a party of high taxis and wealthy friends and family.

Those wealthy friends have already profited from Covid Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) contracts. Even the High Court ruled that the government broke the law by not disclosing the details of billions of pounds spent on PPE during the pandemic. Between March and the end of July 2020, Boris’s government awarded contracts worth about £18 billion.

How can we forget furlough, which those rich friends, including Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak’s millionaire wife, profited from to help pay stuff at the company she invested. That company has bankrupted, but no one is asking her to return hundreds of thousands of pounds she borrowed from the treasury run by her husband. And to add to the shame, while Sunak supported the £20 cut for the Universal Credit recipients (welfare), he was busy building a swimming pool in his mention. So working classes lose £20, pay more in national insurance contribution while according to Boris, salaries are apparently going up.

But how will these fictitious salary rises pay for tax rise? They will not, but what will happen is that he will create a great divide between the rich and poor that even the next government will not be able to fix. And not only that, tax rises will force working classes to pay up the billions he awarded to his chums in PPE contracts. Boris has breached every law on PPE contract awards that makes dictators of Latin America weak in comparison.

But because he gave people Brexit, those voters with Stockholm Syndrome will probably vote for him again until they and Boris had destroyed the country and returned it to the pre-EU membership days when the British economy was hardly anything to be proud of. The E.U. is considered the largest economy globally, whose GDP was estimated in 2018 to be $18.8 trillion. However, some have argued that the U.S. is the largest economy because America is a country while the E.U. is a trading block. But when the U.K. was a member of this economic might, it had significantly profited. Britain joined the European Economic Community, as it was known then, in 1973. Although it was lagging France, West Germany and Italy, whose gross domestic product per head was at 95% while Britain’s was 50%, it soon caught up, and in 40 years it grew faster than the above mentioned three countries. By 2013 Britain was the more prosperous first time since 1965 than the other three were.

That is what the British people chose to leave, in favour of no food on shelves, shortage of petrol, shortage of HGV drivers, all because they believed Boris’s lies even when they knew he was a pathological liar. So yes, the U.K. is self-destructing, and already now, some of those people who voted for Brexit are regretting it, claiming that this is not how they thought things would unfold. But when one is uneducated about the benefit of E.U. membership and hates immigrants even though those immigrants have propped up this country, including NHS, a darling of racist pensioners who voted for Brexit, you deserve to be drowning in regret for destroying the country for the future generations.
